With more than 12,500 parking spaces, those driving their own vehicles to the Barcelona International Airport should have no problems finding a spot. 7,600 of the parking spots are in open-air lots spread out across all terminals; the remainder are housed in the two parking garages (one connects to Terminal C by an air bridge, and the other is across from Terminal A). You can leave your vehicle with peace of mind—all parking entrances and exits are monitored by security guards around the clock. (However, we do recommend taking any valuables along with you and making sure to lock all car doors).

Immediately upon entering the parking area, the ticket machine will automatically dispense a parking ticket for you. Take note of your parking spot number and bring your ticket into the airport with you. Later, when you’re ready to leave the airport, you’ll need to take the parking ticket to any of the 21 payment machines located throughout the terminal lobbies and in the parking areas on the ground and second floors in buildings PA and PC. (Any airport associate can point you toward one.) Within 20 minutes of paying your ticket, you’ll need to depart the parking area by inserting your paid ticket into the automated machine to lift the exit barrier.

In the event that you misplace your parking ticket or experience mechanical car troubles, simply push the alert button on one of the automatic payment machines or notify an airport associate for help.
